@jacksongalart Hey y’all it’s Taylor. I’m not sure if you know but I have created some brushes in Procreate in order to have more accurate representation for our hair. I’m not the first person to do this obviously but I do think it’s important for people like me who have trouble with a lot of detail. It’s hard for me to see, so I created these brushes to use as a base for hairstyles. The hairstyle accessory brushes came to me as an idea before starting Blacktober 2021. I noticed that there’s not a lot of representation in the brush world for Black hair, or how to make brushes that accurately depict Black hair. So I set out on the task of hyper fixating for three days and now here they are lol. The brushes are customizable so if you’d rather not have the transparency then you can always make it more opaque in the pressure settings! I’m planning on releasing some full tutorials in the near future for anyone who’s like to learn how to make hairstyle brushes, or anyone who’s like to see behind the scenes of my process.
