Most people that know me know that I am very shy and don’t talk much. Anxiety sucks, but it’s never gonna stop me from wanting to relate to others. So, here are 20 random fun facts to break the ice just in case the About Me section felt a little too frigid:

I have created some brushes in Procreate in order to have a more accurate representation of our hair. I’m not the first person to do this obviously but I do think it’s important for people like me who have trouble with a lot of detail. It’s hard for me to see, so I created these brushes to use as a base for hairstyles.The hairstyle accessory brushes came to me as an idea before starting Blacktober 2021. I noticed that there’s not a lot of representation in the brush world for Black hair, or how to make brushes that accurately depict Black hair. So I set out on the task of hyper-fixating for three days and now here they are lol.

I decided to do a self-assigned study that I worked on last week in order to stop complaining about my “lack of skill” lol. Right now, I am following Week 1 of Larissa Marantz’s “Drawing for Animators and Illustrators” class (shout-out to OC Art Studios!). The goal was to work on contour and perspective, which are some of the main subjects I struggle with.
